As a ‘Data Controller’ of your personal data, I agree to: only collect data from you that is relevant to your counselling; not pass on your personal data to any third parties for marketing purposes; discuss with you regarding your consent if I need to communicate with other health professionals (such as your GP) about your care.

Contact and enquiry details are stored and kept for the sole purpose of communications between counsellor and you, the client.

I may take electronic notes for my own reference for our sessions, these are written in a factual reflection of the conversation with no identifying data captured. These are kept on a password-protected computer, I use Google Workspace for my documents which requires 2 Factor authentication (Password and a unique number code) for access. I maintain registration (Current registration until December 2024) with the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s independent body that upholds information rights.
